You know road races, trail, ultra-trail, urban trail … This is now the first ever village trail!
The first edition in July 2019 attracted 800 runners! For the 2024 edition, 1,000 people have signed up for the adventure! From the Provencal village to the forest, you’ll have to climb the Avencq ascent nicknamed “The Wall”, a category 1 climb used by Paris-Nice runners, averaging 9% for almost 2 km. So, are you ready to take part this year?
The Village Trail, “The Wall”
This year, the big start took place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 8 p.m.!
The runners set off through the narrow streets of the village of La Colle to reach the wooded areas of the Bois de Montgros. They climbed the formidable slope of the Chemin de l’Avencq, nicknamed “The Wall” (9% average over 2 km with a 20% incline section).
This race is not virtual; it’s a competitive event on a real course, allowing participants to complete the Village Trail race in La Colle-sur-Loup through two challenges: 12 km with a 390 m elevation gain or 8 km with a 260 m elevation gain.
And don’t forget the little ones with our two children’s races: the 500 m (5-9 years old) or the 1.6 km (10-15 years old).
Don’t miss the race next year!
