You know road races, trail, ultra-trail, urban trail … This is now the first ever village trail!
The first edition in July 2019 attracted 800 runners! For the 2025 edition, more than 1,000 registered participants took on the challenge! From the Provençal village to the forest, you’ll have to climb the Avencq ascent, nicknamed “The Wall,” a Category 1 climb, used by the Paris-Nice race, averaging 9% for nearly 2 km. So, are you ready to participate this year? See you in 2026 on July 9th!

The Village Trail, “The Wall”
See you on July 9, 2026 for the next edition!
Runners will set off through the narrow streets of the village of La Colle to reach the wooded areas of the Bois de Montgros. They will climb the formidable slope of the Chemin de l’Avencq, known as “The Wall” (9% average gradient over 2 km with a section at 20%).
This race is not virtual; it’s a real-world sporting event, allowing you to experience the Village Trail of La Colle-sur-Loup through two challenges: 12km with 390m of elevation gain or 8km with 260m of elevation gain.
And let’s not forget the little ones with our two children’s races: the 500m (ages 5-9) or the 1.6km (ages 10-15).
Are you ready for the adventure? Don’t miss the start this year!
